Bangor Historical Society : History Talks

Bangor Historical Society was founded in November 1976 to encourage the study of and to promote public interest in local history.
Over the years, the Society has published several journals, postcards, photographic calendars and brief historical details of 'Old Bangor'.
They meet in the comfort of the North Down Museum café the second Thursday of each month.
Doors open at 7:30pm and talks begin at 8pm.

Historical Societies across the Borough.
The Museum works closely with many historical societies across the Borough.
These groups explore and promote the history and heritage of their local areas.
Many of them also provide interesting monthly talks along with good company and a cup of tea.
